Airport & Pilot Information

What do I need to do before I fly in for the first time?

Complete our Hold Harmless Form and send to our Airport Manager, Matt Taylor, along with proof of your aircraft insurance. Your form stays on file for the calendar year. You will resubmit in January of the next year to continue to utilize our airport.

Where can I find the Forms I need?

Do you have rental cars or Uber/Lyft?

No – sorry – you are in the rural mountains of West Virginia! The closest car rental agency is in Elkins, WV or Oakland, MD where there are also other airports you can land and drive up to the mountains if you desire. Otherwise you will need to arrange someone to pick you up or rent close to the airport.

Is there a landing fee?

We are a private airport and do not charge landing fees, if you would like to make a donation toward our runway fund we would greatly appreciate it!  You may send it to 1 Cessna Lane, Davis, WV 26260.

What do I need to bring with me?

Chocks and tiedowns are recommended. We have a limited supply of chocks, but there are permanent anchors  in the tie-down area. It gets windy up here so you will want to tie down securely.

Where is the nearest aircraft fuel?

Elkins (EKN), WV, Grant County (W99) and Garrett County (2G4)

Do you have Fly-Ins?

Please stay tuned and sign up for our newsletter for announcements for future Fly-Ins. COVID has certainly put a damper on our events, but we hope to be welcoming a big group soon!
